EDOX - Any experts out there?

I came across this vintage EDOX Sky Diver, tried it on and seems pretty cool and was tempted to get it.
Now, I know EDOX watch mostly has the logo at the 12 hour mark but for some reason this doesn't. I searched through google and all I'm seeing is the re-issue of the Sky Diver which also says Sky Diver 70s.

Does anyone know whether this is how it's supposed to be back in the days with EDOX or this is something fishy? Oh, it's going for ~USD500.

Nice looking watch, from where I'm standing. I can't see why anyone would bother with a redial on a piece of such modest value, but that's just an opinion.

My gut feeling is that it's fine. I think it's an interesting piece, especially since the case is unusual and 300m is a high depth rating. $500 doesn't sound outrageous.
