Hey, two of them at least didn't follow the standard $2,500 template.

I know at least one is a scam, beware of the Antony rm guy, he told me he's from Spain, and told another guy he's from Mexico, won't do face to face transactions, requests multiple paypal payments etc..... Sad

Other than the first one (which is rather aggressively priced:eek:), they're all scams.

I just had a nice refresher course on the truth of that saying. Saw a cheap 145.012 in Mexico and decided to spring for it. The next day, I saw one on IG that looked identical and had the same patina even. Seller promptly went dark and stopped replying to my emails. Thank God for PayPal buyer protection.

Probably same guy I tried to buy 145.012 from..........if it's too good to be true....and as you say....thank God for PP protection. Lesson learned. In the mean time.....anyone else have one they want to sell cheap? :)

Still a little confused as to how he has access to pictures of that watch though. Vision Vintage Watches is the dealer that currently has it (or had it) and given the poor quality of the Mexican con artist's pictures, there's no way they came from VVW.

Yeah, he has a box, some bad watch pics, and an extract pic as well that he sent me. The videos he sends are quite funny really.

He just can't set the time, or take a picture of it all at once....minor problem

Yeah I'm still waiting for a picture of the watch on a date/time stamped sheet of paper.

Sorry for de-railing this thread, but glad I could commiserate with someone!

Well, there's another one out there too, and that's probably the one to go after.
