·People like brown dials because they are attractive, in addition to not often seen. This isn't attractive, even if natural. But who knows, someone might love it.

·I like it. Some chemical seeping up onto the edges, as the dial sat on a watchmaker's bench, is what I would imagine could create that. Or degredation originating from the movement? Oil, water getting in? Nice looking lugs.

or a discoloured or dirty crystal ?
If it is the dial, some fluid got in i think,
Or a cleaning agent after a fluid got in.
Maybe from radiation decay ?
Has it been flown outer space and caught a Solar burst ?
Suffer from that horrible Mustard Mayo spill on the workbench ?

My Dad's old 105.012-65, changed from black to brown, but its fairly even across the dial. (Although, I did find a tiny bit of blue sky and fluffy cloud reflected this afternoon, on my way back from the pub. I suppose that's definitely environmental)

·It's a bit unusual to see that colour contrast around the edge of the dial. Having said that, I quite like it.

·I've been extremely surprised how watches present in photos vs real life. It's a tough gamble either way. Buy the seller as they say. Otherwise be willing to lose most of your investment.
