Hi all, I’m going to view this 103.005 ed white this afternoon which is on sale by Falco Watches in Farringdon. Are there any red flags or non-original parts? It’s been on Chrono24 for a long while now which makes me think there has to be something wrong.

I’ve done a lot of research on this reference (especially with the help of Speedmaster101). In my opinion this example looks pretty clean - the dial, hands and bezel look original. I cannot tell if the lume is original or not. It looks like the crown has been replaced and is not original?

Many thanks,
Liam

Good looking watch, case polished but they all are not too bad- very nice dial, bezel ok, SN checks out
Subtract 2000 for service and bracelet and price is in range for a "good example"

And good to be able to see it in hand.
Good luck let us know

If you should proceed with this one ask for (in focus) side views of the case.

Seller doesn't talk about the end links at all. If these are the original 6 end links they represent a certain value.

Looks a nice example. The only thing I can see as a mild negative is the crown. This a later 32 tooth service crown, I prefer and Ed to have the 24 tooth A1 crown personally. The lume looks original and pretty well matching, that is quite unusual in an Ed, often the hands are darker than the dial lume and too much matching can be a warning sign, but not here I think.
