    Hey Everyone -

I'm an economist by training and I have a recent newfound interest in the watch industry. I've started a web page applying economics to horology. I have two articles posted there and a number of additional articles in progress. The first article covers the reason why there are intentional shortages. The second dives into the reason why luxury watch buyers react differently to price.

If you have a chance to read I hope you enjoy and thank you!

Thanks for sharing, nice read. Just a little detail, on the Article: "Scarcity as Strategy in Horology" one of the reasons named for the shortage of Rolex production is Swiss Labour Laws that only allow 40 hours of work. This is not true since the Laws allow for 45 to 50 hours a week depending on the Job, and there are many ways to increase it even further.
