·Yeah, eBay is a minefield. The Authenticity Guarantee has helped with watches, but the site is still saturated with fake parts, bracelets, and straps being sold at genuine article prices. Some of these sellers have been doing this for years and are getting more blatant.
This guy, for example, keeps selling straps with the corner of a label in a style that Omega doesn't use cut off:
What he's cutting out are the Chinese characters:
My advice is just to avoid eBay for expensive stuff and buy from actual reputable sellers or just pay slightly more at retail for peace of mind.
