Hi there, let me introduced Myself. I'm new to the forum and need some advice. I currently own an omega speedmaster, sea master chronostop, sea master 120 automatic and now a new arrival off eBay seamaster professional 300 mid size automatic.

After receiving it I can confirm that the case, mechanism is real. Its got the same 1109 calibre as my seamaster 120 automatic. Identical.

The bracelet however is niggling me. There are no marking except for a very faint logo reading 23s stainless steel 1502/824 Swiss made omega and 'logo' on the inner of the clasp (see pic) also on outer clasp (see PIC)

Is it real. Please help as if not I will contact the seller.

Regards

Hello PedrosOmega, I have a very similar watch to yours...mine is also a Seamaster Professional 300 midsize, it is the 2551.80. The only difference is that mine is all stainless steel. Your watch seems quite polished, especially the bracelet and clasp, but otherwise looks OK. I have included some pictures for you to compare...

I know mine is genuine as I purchased it from an AD new. There are a few things that look different, such as the S in Seamaster on your clasp and the way the printing is done on the inside of the clasp...but I'll let the more experienced chime in on these. A better dial shot would also be helpful!

EDIT: I'll be putting this up for sale shortly😀

thanks for your prompt reply. i did wonder about the inside of the clasp as i've seen different to mine. i will take these comments into thought. like i mentioned. its the bracelet which i'm suspect about not the watch itself.

regards

Your watch may be a bit older than mine, which may account for the differences...My serial number is 81,xxx,xxx dating to roughly 2007 (seems right with my recollection of the purchase) and if yours is considerably different, well that could be it. But again I'm sure someone else will chime in shortly!

I see no issues with either the watch or bracelet, looks fine.

the only reason i'm still suspect of the bracelet is that it has no serial numbers stamped on each of the bracelet fixing lugs.... regards

The original Omega bracelet will have a very good quality feel to it, not flimsy in any way. I know this is subjective but when I get home I'll also check my bracelet and let you know of any other markings you should look out for.
