Hello everyone, I ask an opinion of you experts on this Omega. Comes without box and papers, so as you see in the picture. I would like to know if it is original or a fake, since the price seems very low compared to what you see around
The H/E valve seems to be in the correct position, the serial looks passable, the hands seem to be the correct length for that reference, (pre-co-axil), and the bezel pearl looks pretty decent. The engraving on the clasp isn't as sharp as on my Co-Axil SMP, and I'm not familiar with that packaging or manual - (Which, on both accounts, does not necessarily mean it's incorrect for that era). I'm sure someone will come along that knows quite some more than myself, but If it were me, I'd believe it's genuine. I've never come across a terribly good fake of the SMP, which is odd given its popularity. Normally the H/E valve and Bezel Pearl are the dead give aways.
Please post or PM me the serial number, and I will make a quick check to see if it matches the model. Cheers, Al

Looks original to me. The Buy it now price seems like its in the ball park for what a similar watch has been sold in the past for. Since this is through ebay, you should have no problem returning if it its fake. I recently purchased a mint co-axial SMP - 2220.80 (used) for 1800 shipped through ebay . Considering this is the older model, the price is not that low. Also, I see papers but i don't see a box. That also affects the price.
its about the going rate for an average 2531. factor in 200 euros for a service if you are thinking of making an offer.
It is the 60193953 (I bought this watch). It seems genuine, but I will let it service and check. Can you tell me what the age must be (about)?
