Just came across this Seamaster cal 550 with black dial on ebay. Auction ends in 2 hrs! Is it real or a franken watch? And is US 530 a reasonable asking price? Many thanks for helping out a complete newbie.

 

Watch looks ok. Price looks top end to me but Ive payed over the top if I like something enough.

 

Thanks for your help Geordie. I was originally looking at this watch which I suspect is a subtle redial when I came across the black dial cal 550.

 

Not sure if its a redial could be the light making it look glossy so someone else might help.
If its gold which it looks like it is its a nice watch if you can live with the inscription.
