Easily readable day date?

Any opinions on the most easily readable day date?
I have a speedy Mk40, which I love, and whilst the pointer is great for the day of the month, the day and month windows really are tiny.
Can't think I'm the only one with less than 20:20, who favours reading at a glance?
Have looked at an awful lot of dial images online, but of course not the same as viewing the real thing.
Like the look of the older moonphases, but I guess, with the reliabilty of complication movements, there's always the danger of ending up with a 'pig in a poke', as my gran used to say.
Many thanks in advance for any input.

I need reading glasses, but for me, there's never a doubt with these two:

For the piffling sum of [price upon request], Lange & Sohne will provide you with a big-date / day-pointer Lange 1...

Don’t forget that you can pick a secondhand Seiko for the price of tank of petrol for the car

If only! Just need to re-mortgage the house.
Could run to a 'replica', at $279, but that would, arguably, just encourage those that make a living in the murk of the underworld.

Maybe it's price join request because the price is really low and they don't want people thinking it is too cheap?

Was about to suggest the same but couldn't dare speaking of Seiko 5 after A Lange & Sohne ::facepalm1::

But need to add that they are great daily wearers with quite cool dial designs and readability. They even come with bilingual day options, enabling switching between English and Arabic or French etc

Idk if you'd agree but I think this complication looks Omega like a wannabe 90s Japanese-made watch while somehow elevating and looking pretty good on Seiko 5's.

Some examples that I've got:

My Recraft had a nice day-date display.

That's nice....the gilt hands/markers go well with the green dial and the date window looks decent.
Not had a Seiko since we used to fly in and out of Sek Kong, back in the day. Almost everyone bought one there.
Had a trawl around, about £200 in the UK....definitely give it a go, or I could always go for the Lange & Sohne! 😀
