I have this Record Datofix Triple Calendar Moon Phase retailed by Cuervo y Sobrinos Jeweler in Havana Cuba, for sale. I am consolidating my collection and unfortunately this one has to go.
I bought this watch in early 2000 from its original owner in Cuba and have used it occasionally since. The watch went through a full service 2 weeks ago at my local watchmaker and runs like a champ. All calendar functions and the moonphase work as they should and the watch keeps excellent time for its age.
Case: Gold filled case is in very good condition for a + 60 year old watch. Caseback closes tight.
Case measurements: 35 mm. (without crown), 38 mm. (with crown), 40 mm. from lug to lug, 17 mm. between lugs and 10 mm. height.
Dial: Original champagne colored dial shows some patina due to age. Calendar is written in Spanish. All 4 original hands are in very good condition and not corroded. Retailer´s signature is printed at 12, below Record´s logo. The crown seems to be a replacement unit but matches the case nicely.
Crystal: Very good condition original acrylic crystal.
Caliber: The 15 jewels hand winding C107 manufacture Record signed caliber has been just serviced and keeps excellent time. Date, day, moon phase and month functions work as they should. All 3 pushers work properly as well.
The sale is only for the watch. The strap pictured is not included on the sale.
I’m asking $1,350 OBO net to me insured shipping within CONUS. Shipping to other countries at cost.
NOW REDUCED TO $1,075 OBO
Payment: Wire transfer payment for new members, or PayPal for established forum members only (buyer covers the fees).
Watch and I are in the US and I can ship worldwide. Returns only accepted if grossly misrepresented.
