Had a previous thread trying to work out if I had bought a donut, and was well advised the style of the face is called Tropical on what look likes an original dynamic. This is the only other tropical face dynamic I can find anywhere http://www.chrono24.com/en/omega/dy...e--id2971187.htm?id=2971187&picnum=0&tab=pics Anyone any idea when these were made, and how rare this face is as I can only find one other on the magical interweb. Also, anyone recommend anywhere I can get an orange second hand sourced and fitted for a reasonable price? Thanks
Frei & Borel may have some hands sets, so have a look on the website. Tropical dial, well I guess it could be described as that. I'm wagering it was a charcoal dial that has degraded over time, leaving a beautiful and even patina that doesn't in any way detract from its appearance. BTW You need an orange sweep for this dial. Cheers Desmond
I wonder why they have removed the second ? I would have been easier to put it back on the pivot . I think the pivot of the second wheel is broken ?. A new second you could find at Ofrei or Cousinsuk .
