I can't find any info about whether or not this strap is waterproof. Any thoughts? I love mine and filling our new pool this week.

I consider any textile strap not waterproof. Unless it's metal or rubber it doesn't belong in the water. But you can always give it a try.

The outside is cordura, but the inside lining is leather...not too clever in water

Speaking from experience in can tell you that this strap is definitely not friendly with the water due to the leather liner. It also won't do great with sweaty wrists.

You could, however, order a custom cordura strap with rubber lining which would be way better with both. Jean Rousseau can do it no problem.

They can be ordered with water-resistant leather lining, but I wouldn't consider it useful for swimming or diving

Or showering or even washing dishes.
I would avoid all water with the OEM Dsotm cordura straps..

Showering probably not. Washing dishes is probably fine, unless you're submerging your entire wrist

Sounds like the OP is considering jumping in the pool with it - I wouldn't do that with this leather lined strap (I have the DSOTM and incidental water is fine, but I wouldn't shower with it, or even wear it too often during sweaty wrist season, which we are now well and truly in here in NYC). Then again, I wouldn't shower with any watch - soap scum is no friend, bit that's another topic. Only two things ever join me in the shower, my wedding ring...and occasionally the wife associated with it ;)
