Today I'm listing for sale this lovely old Doxa tank dating to somewhere in the 1930's. I wish I could say more about it but it was one of those late night spur of the moment purchases and TBH I haven't done any research on it since it arrived. What attracted me to it in the first place was the wonderful steel case shape and condition. It has a very pronounced and slightly curved tank shape measuring a respectable 40 mm x 22mm with strong chamfered edges and a curved case back. The case is in perfect condition and the light catches nicely on it. Signed Doxa. The dial is black and dual signed with raised dot markers and gold leaf hands. The crystal is a kind of curved dome and also in good shape. I haven't been able to take photo's of the movement as I can't access it through its protective holder but will vouch of course for its authenticity. It is winding, setting and running very smoothly. It hasn't been serviced whilst I've owned it and it's keeping OK time. Fitted to a brown leather vintage strap. €275 net to me will include worldwide Track & Trace shipping. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal for well established forum members only. Any questions?...Just ask!
