Doubts while preparing my first watch to sell - Seiko 4522-8000

I am going to be posting my first listing soon(and tbh my first attempt to sell a watch).

It's a nice(I think) 4522-8000, very light scratches, shiny in the sun, no peeling but some light stains on the dial.

The medallion has some damage but it's original. I bought an aftermarket replacement one and I wonder if I should swap it.(of course I would provide the original too).

The watch itself works when wound and you can manually set the date with the quickset. However when running the hands, the date gets stuck in the middle.

I believe the watch is all genuine since I have myself a reference to compare to and it's exactly the same in all ways.

The crown itself sticks out a bit, but otherwise works fine, perhaps the stem wasn't properly cut to size.

I am debating whether to get it serviced and/or replace the peeled medallion before selling it.

This is a desirable vintage Grand Seiko reference so you will want to reference this in title of sales thread.
You need to hone your photography skills so practice until you can make good quality focused photos of front, back, sides w closeup crown, and closeup of dial details/ indices
Also inside Caseback and movement photos are helpful
Don’t waste your money on service or replacing Caseback as collectors value originality over AM replacements and buyers don’t mind organizing service if needed.
Just a few tips you should look over private sales threads for formatting ideas and presentation and copy style that you like. Some are verbose some are clipped, but good his resolution photos are very impt
If you price your watch reasonably it will sell. Buyers here are pretty experienced and if you over price it will sit. Dont use Chrono24 asking prices as a guide to value as they are generally too high.
Hope these few tips help!
Good luck with this and future sales!

Thanks for the tips. I will make sure to post better photos.

Next I guess is figuring out shipping and pricing the watch itself. Chrono24 is a hit and miss, sometimes there are good bargains but also ridiculously overpriced stuff.

I am thinking 645 € (plus shipping) shipped from EU as an initial price(and I will throw the aftermarket medallion for free in case the buyer wants to swap it, honestly only the color is different, it feels solid and looks good - I bought it for myself but I didn't hate the peeled medallion enough to swap it). Should be a really nice deal for EU buyers because there's no tax or anything and the shipping shouldn't be too expensive(I am not going to add any additional costs to the actual shipping price). Tbh I am not looking to price gouge and I want to build a good feedback with people I sell to. And if I didn't have another watch like this(for which I paid a lot more than what I am selling this one for because I became a vintage Seiko junkie after my first KS), I wouldn't sell it anyway 😁.

I am hoping someone else who likes vintage GS/KS would buy it.
