Still don't fully understand what to make of that. I have 12 others on file with serials in the 50. All but 2 (1 Cartier & 1 other Turler) are Jaeger.

·Firstly, given the pointy A, I believe it's a re-dial (serial no puts it at 1952). In terms of the word Hamilton I'm inclined to think it might originally have been double-signed as Hamiltons, as in Hamilton & Co the Calcutta jewelers, like the one below.
If this theory is correct, it's a pity they missed the s at the end.
