·A bit on the fence about if this is worth a thread, but I figured someone else might google it or be in the same camp as I was.
I recently bought a second half link for my Aqua Terra first gen (Actually Railmaster) bracelet. I've really struggled with the fit of this bracelet on my 18 cm wrist, it's either way too loose or slightly too tight in warmer weather. Measuring out the links, the half link is slightly larger than half of a whole link. On my 36 mm watch (19 mm lug width, 1675/899 bracelet) the half link is 5 mm and the whole link is 8 mm. So I decided to buy a second half link from Omega so I could replace an 8 mm whole link with a 10 mm double half link for a 2 mm increase, rather than adding a half link for a 5 mm increase.
Happy to report this worked pretty well. Ideally I'd want 1 mm tighter to be perfect but this is the best compromise fit I've found for sure. I don't love this bracelet, certainly much prefer my Seamaster bracelet with the vastly superior clasp. But this has definitely improved the fit - and doesn't look too weird with two halves either.
The half link cost me $70 AUD from Omega, took a couple of weeks to order in and included three complimentary sets of pin and pipes which was very handy as some of mine were a bit worn. Do recommend giving this a shot if you struggle with the fit with the included links.
