Yeah, definitely no Bueno. I recently visited a local vintage watch shop and every single Omega they had (5 or 6) was fake or had a poor redial.

Here are some tips to help you avoid purchasing a fake vintage Omega.

Here's a classic fake Seamaster:

First, you won't find "antimagnetic" or a jewel count on the dial of any Seamaster. Second, that's one crappy movement. Omega copper plated their movements since the word Seamaster has been used on the dial. Third, Omega never put the hallmarks (like the Ω WATCH Co inside the triangle or the 18K 0.750) you see on this watch's caseback on the outside - they were always on the inside.

Here's another example in a different case:

Bottom line: ASK BEFORE YOU BUY! Part of the reason this forum exists is to help less experienced people buy decent vintage watches without getting ripped off. We don't even charge! It's a FREE service!

Hello to all.
I am Novice Speedmaster aficionado.
I own a full set, 145.022 , 1971.
I want to buy a 105.012 but have some concerns with the bracelet.
Can you guide to whom can help me about that.

Best regards

Interesting that the seller keeps all sales private so you can't see what else they have passed off.

Fake&franken specialist xtime99 (72 ) from South California is back with a fake admiralty red ancoretta that was never produced by Omega!!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/274087097342

he sold similar ones with blue dial in the past

Bezel is fake
Case, caseback, crown are fake (not even similar to real one)
Hands are fake
DIAL DOESN'T EVEN EXIST FOR REAL: the automatic no date "ancoretta" does not exist (would be the 165.054), it does exist as automatic+date 166.054 with 565 caliber or manual+nodate 135.042 with 601 caliber (all serial range is 29M to 30M 1970-1971)

That watch is automatic NO date 550 caliber 18M (1961) with date 166.054 case reference... a model never produced by Omega

I was looking for a pretty basic 60's steel case, and came across these from the same seller...would yall say theyre legit? Im not looking for the greatest example, but i am looking for original dial/crown, unpolished case...and most importantly an actual legit Omega!

This one's 'OMEGA' engraving on the movement seems worn off, and idk if the case is unpolished with that brushing. What do you think?

The seller (large available stock from Japan) has a bunch that are more or less similar, but each probably have their own slight concerns..
This one doesnt have a signed crown

Thers also this one

Any thoughts about these pieces would be appreciated, thank you!

...I thought the "Post them here" meant post what youre looking at so you dont fall for them!
And that "not for questions" meant not for general questions.
My bad! Sorry about that!
