The description does state that the dial isn't original.

But in this case it's counterfeit as well, hands and bezel are suspect too.

I reported it.

Cameron, this thread is for known fakes, and not for questions. There is another thread for asking if real/ fake.

Thank you.

The photo of the one I posted looks nothing like my Geneve.

This thread is not for uncertain fakes. The watch you posted is comprised of mostly authentic Omega parts along with your opinion that the case is fake.

Understood. Mostly authentic apart from the case back (which would be valuable if authentic). And the OP is obviously not willing to add further information.

I won't go on bothering you here with this topic.

Mind pointing me to the direction, good sir? I posted my own thread before asking for help identifying but nobody ever reply.

Having posted in the 'report' thread, I'm also going to post this nasty Connie here as a good example of a fake

Plus another one that is up for sale at a UK auction house next month - I've advised the auction house and hopefully they will do the right thing.

re watch shown above - just to add grist to the mill, the watch has yet to be removed and the auction house has added additional images to the listing

this must be an oversight as I've had good dealings with this particular auction house in the past
I have of course contacted them again and I'm sure they will resolve this

images of inner case back and movement
such quality of workmanship and finish.......🤦

well blow me, I am utterly astonished...... I have to say this really boils my piss

the auction house ignored my (repeated) friendly advice and just sold this piece crap.

Some poor bastard has bought this and will pay almost £1,500 (with fees) for what can only be described as an abomination.

I've written to the auction house again to suggest they sort it out before the buyer pays up - I only hope they do

There are a few vintage Omegas that I am looking at and I wanted an opinion. They look right (the movements at least) and the seller appears to be a reputable dealer but doctored dials can sometimes slip by even people who mean well. My concern with the second one is the winding knob. It is missing the Omega symbol. It appears to be rubbed off.
