Aplogies. Is there a thread here which could help me?
So where do you first ask if its a fake so you can the post here telling everyone your watch is a fake and more importantly, why its a fake.

Thanks Uncle Buck. This is good showing the fakes. But as I mentioned, if only a photo with no details as to why the watch shown is a fake, it makes it not useless, but not easy to determine what a novice should look for. Fakes are getting so good that having a reference point is great to make a comparison. Thanks for the help. I do not in any way whatsoever mean to sound like I am criticizing anyone. If I have I apologize in advance.
I love Omegas and good shoes.

It's all good Murr, just didn't want any misinterpretation. The guys here are great and we are a little Sheldonish (you have Big Bang where you are?) but it all works pretty good.
A post in vintage or open for inquiries and then maybe follow up here to warn us when a fake is determined.

good shoes.
You talkin' Cole-Haan's and Johnston Murphy's or the super rich skids?

Regarding fakes, almost anything on the outside of the case back besides U.S.Army (2179) and "Tool 107" is a real warning flag unless a family engraving.

The "Golden Rule" ask here first, pull the trigger second.

Actually, there are hundreds of examples with nomenclature on the back, don't know what I was thinking.
I got the Golden Rule right though.
