They buy A SHIT load of my spare parts and "repairs" watches like triple dates / monopushers / old valjoux's AND are found resold reprinted "Heuer" engraved...

I think i get a good deal out of 拢800 for three working but battered "triple dates" Only to see the same three watches Sold for 拢1000+ each in the USA after they were sold to India / Philippines / Brazil or Turkey.... to get unrecognisably "Heuer(ised)" or "breitling(ed)" usually

S**ting Jesus I did that by accident ! ....picked two dodge listings in 30 seconds by picture alone.. before thinking "i better check those two before getting called out on posting an accidental REAL watch notably marled as a redial by a half genuine seller... THEN NOTICED the LISTING DESCRIPTION SIMILARITY!!

i've not seen this before is it "fake" like fake "fake"? or just very poorly restored put together "frankened" and blobbuly painted

Completely fake. It has the giveaways of fake SM300.
Stubbies on the dial
Bezel all wrong, and if bezel is wrong so is the case (fake bezels did not fit on actual SM300 cases)

I am pretty sure others with more knowledge can give you more details on what else is wrong.

Purchased this on Ebay. Wondering if some experts can look at these pics and see if it's legit. Buyer was good to work with and had 100% on feedback and over 500 transactions.

Genuine but it has a poorly refinished dial, hurts value a lot.

BTW, this is NOT the thread to post questions about something you already bought or any questions for that matter.

As the title clearly states.

Hello everyone. I was looking at some of my old watches recently an came across this one. I got it in a bag of watches at a garage sale some years back and never thought much about it. I took a better look at it and am wondering if it is genuine. I looked at the omega vintage site and can't find it exactly. I also searched through all 33 pages of this thread and didn't find anything similar. These are the details. Sea master automatic, 1020 movement. Inside case back has 166 0278.203 and 366 0878.203 , Acier Inoxydable , Omega Watch Co. Fab. Suisse. Movement has the omega symbol, 1020, omega Swiss , Seventeen 17 Jewels unadjusted. Crown has the Omega symbol. Face says Swiss made very small below the 6 o clock. Outside of back says Seamaster and and the seahorse , 1020. The bracelet has the omega and 32 in a circle stainless steel 425, symbol in a triangle , omega. It works very well and is clean. I have included pictures below. Real? Fake? Any thoughts. Thank you. Mike.

nothing wrong with that just smash the numbers you diligently read into google..

whats the serial on the movement? should be between 44xxxxxx and 45xxxxxx just above the 1020 mark Little circle with 惟

Unusual reference fat 惟 is ahead of its time i'm guessing but japanese market probably

It's interesting that they can read the replies/ responses (and often get offended by them) but they can't actually read the thread title :whipped:

It's obviously no problem to read the first part of the title. There must be a filter that hides text within parentheses.

Maybe we should put the (Not for Questions) at the beginning of the thread title.

Also, we should stop answering their questions. That will go a long way.
