Okay great! I love your intel. So is this AS 1130 movement actually made in Switzerland? I paid for the watch 拢28, so not overly upset about it, but the service/reconditioning will be 拢170. Do you think the movement is worth it? I'm not planning to sell it of course. Thank you 馃榾

Need help identifying this watch as fake or genuine. The dial looks good, but since the back says sea master I can't tell if it's real. I don't have any other info on the watch or pictures of the movement.

Great! Do you have any idea from what year it might be from? I'm new to the forum so I don't know too much about these vintage omegas. From the seamasters I've seen I thought that all of the seamaster said seamaster on the dial too. If you have any insight on this, I would like to know more.

Suggestion, start a new thread asking about your watch.

More people will see it there and comment.

IMO, the dial was probably repainted, but the case looks very real. I would bet there is a nice Omega movement inside.

Can anyone tell me when the "(Not for questions)" portion of the title becomes visible to members? Apparently it isn't until a certain amount of posts......

Hmmmmm, maybe the programming got messed up when the 200 post rule for the Sales Forums was instituted, and complete thread titles aren't shown to n00bs until then.

Not to mention the inability to look at the dozens of comments often on the same page telling people to start a new thread!

Then I suggest you re-read the title of this thread you posted your watch in, there are some real numbnut members on the forum who might get a bit confused.
