just curious if anyone know of the brand? I have one I bought about 7 years ago and looks like the company no longer makes watches.

I can't find much information and wonder why they stopped making them even.

Does need a new battery which I'm assuming is what it takes.

Kind of reminds me on a Movado

Don't know the brand and being a quartz watch, I don't think it has any value.

Curious if anyone may know what happened to the company? I'd assume I could get this serviced if need be at any reputable shop....

Just don't know, and my searches come up empty, at least from what I see.

These type of dime a dozen watch companies come and go all the time. The only thing that is really "theirs" is the brand name. They buy the movement from company A (which is identical to the movement used by dozens of other watch companies), dial from company B, etc, etc,

Yes, it could be serviced anywhere, but as a quartz, chances are it will cost more to service than it is worth.

No relationship to Movado aside from copying the style.

Try looking for Swiss Tungsten Watches.

I'll give that a try.... wish me luck. I may give it a new battery and give it to a friend haha. I don't think I've ever worn it but twice.

Hardly, the movement in yours is probably a Ronda 1064 or similar. You don't service the movement, you buy one for ten bucks and change it out.

    Edit:

    Or one of these
