·There were almost certainly fewer made and they’re older so less common in good condition. The main reason imo is that unlike the DNN which is generally period correct for Speedmasters worth £3-7k, the DON is correct for Speedmasters worth £4-25k. A good bezel can make a big difference to the overall appeal and value of a watch and therefore the market values DONs higher due to the impact they can have on watches of significantly higher value.

As I wrote on another thread my watch has a very poor don and I can get my hands on a good dnn
The Don is correct for my serial no
What should I do as I cannot afford another don

·I replied to your other thread, it's your watch and you need to decide what's right for you. I wouldn't put a DNN on it. I'd leave the DON on and save up until I could afford a replacement DON.

·The DNN bezels are made from aluminum and the DON bezels are made from a unique alloy of unobtainium and gougumanium that makes them extremely expensive.

·They are not more sought after, but they are correct for watches with higher value. Parts for high-value watches are expensive.
