Hello dear people! Im new to the vintage department and arrived here somewhat randomly. As my father passed I inherited his Omega Speedmaster (145-022-69) a model I’ve later learned was a pre-moon. As I’m now finding it quite a task bringing his watch back to original state im currently looking the correct bezel. Im naturally scared to buy this since its a lot of money and I (obviously) want to avoid buying a fake piece.

Can you with your keen eyes help me determine the genuineness of this Bezel?

This bezel looks correct to me but I'm no expert on fake ones. Do you have the serial number of your watch ? This might help to know if you need a DON or a DNN.
Would you have detailed pictures of your inherited watch by any chance ?

Hi, the bezel looks legit to me, but as Seaborg, I'm no expert.
A picture and the serial of your watch may help, because the condition of the watch and the bezel should (in my opinion) be the same.
A pre moon can have a DNN by the way

The printing looks ok to me but the condition and fading is a bit weird. I'm not sure it will look very good on your watch.

I was also thinking the same about the surface texture but I think it might be due to the quality and/or post-processing of the pictures.
