Hi there, I hope you don’t mind me contacting you like this and I do hope I’ve posted this in the correct place. Anyways to cut a long story short I have a box of watches that were stored in a drawer and in there I found what I think is a 1940’s? Omega. I don’t normally sell watches as it’s such a specialist area and not one I know about. Books and Film memorabilia yes but watches no, I didn’t realise it was so complex till now. I have listed the watch on eBay, but am getting lots of questions about it, that I’m struggling to answer and I want to make sure I’m being as clear as I can be. I’ve done some research but don’t know if the description is correct It’s what I think to be a late 40’s 30T2 with a Dennison case. I just need to know it is what I’m saying it is. ie does the case marry to the mechanism etc etc. I’ve attached some pics for you to peruse. Any help and knowledge greatly appreciated from the forum members here. Thanks Leharv
It does. Font and omega symbol are huge screaming red flags, plus subdial markers floating in the air, plus...
Rochete, Thanks for letting me know. Like I said I don’t know what it is I’d be looking for. Does the case and movement marry up or has that been changed as well.
I can't say, not very familiar with Dennison cases. Lot of UK experts here, perhaps some would chime in.
