Bored as one sometimes gets in an airport lounge.
I found myself reaching for one of those magazines that covers luxury cars/yachts/watches.

Amused to find a piece on the new Ltd Edition CK2998 IMG_5612.JPG

I think @meganfox17 posted the exact position the writer was in while making that article.

I would have thought his head was stuck in some other hole. :D

Oh, and the writer might not have had any say in what picture was published so it could have been the photographer or editor that screwed the pooch. I've had editors replace my photos once or twice.

Can people please stop calling "journalists" the individuals who write in specialized watch magazines and blogs? Journalism rests upon seeking independent sources, avoiding or disclosing conflicts of interest, and citing sources -- all of that to produce reliable information.
As far as I know ZERO of the specialized publications come anywhere close to producing either journalism or trustworthy information.

We will leave journalism to be conducted by the real journalists, you know, the ones from CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. I am going to call out FOX News as well.

I agree completely, and various watch blogs and sites also fall into the "not journalism" column for me for the most part. When you rely on companies for products to review, manufacturing plant tours, ans inside information, being objective mostly goes out the window. Applies to watches, cars, etc.

Some exceptions would be proper industry publications...in other words for those in the industry, not for the general public.

    Cheers, Al
