Does this look familiar?

Before being flamed, I'm not applying any criticism but just posting for interest...

Just going though and checking some of my saved watch searches and came across this delight on C24, I then thought hang on, that looks familiar to a watch recently sold here on OF.

I thought I would highlight as if it was Kov's old Straight Writing, it was a wonderful piece and deserves a chance to stay in the community... if only I could afford it being my personal grail 馃檨

You're going to be flamed for posting links rather than photos.

Hopefully these will redeem me?
First is from C24, second from our Private Watch Sales...

The two watches seem to have slight differences in the patina on their casebacks.
Here are the two pictures.

Maybe the differences are just due to time involved.
The Omega Extract documents seem identical.

(Note that I am a noob when it comes to knowing watch details, so I could be wrong).

They are the same maybe because of lighting angle.

I think you're right.
The more I look at those two casebacks, the more I see the similarities.

For example, the black paint chips in some of the letters on the back have some of the exact same markings:
- the "W" in "WORN"
- the "O" in "OF"
- the "M" in "MOON"

.

Amazing package ... again.

The claim of "1 owner for 50 years!!!" in the C24 listing is interesting. Maybe this is something that @kov communicated privately to the current seller but if it was in the OF listing, I must have missed it. However, the "Comes with original papers (unstamped which is very rare)" comment is just cringe-worthy.

Happy to see my watch again - already flipped by the new owner, who shamelessly uses my photographs in his C24 listing without even having asked for permission 馃う

馃憥

He said he鈥檚 a Rolex guy. Since I know nothing of that 芦 world 禄 maybe that鈥檚 the Rolex world normal.

Or maybe there鈥檚 another reason... it is what it is. Hope the watch finds a good home.
