Just picked up this Mark XVIII and was wondering if it looked too large on my wrist?

Does look a bit big there, need some pics from further away to reduce the forced perspective look.
I wear my larger watches lower on y wrist, sort of where the join to the hand is which helps the look a bit.

It looks to be on the big side for your wrist. Lugs appear to be spilling over both sides a tad. At least, that's my general rule. If the case + lugs are larger than my wrist is wide, it is too big. Could you give us a couple shots from different angles and from a little distance? Close ups always make the watch appear bigger.

Big, small.... no one is gonna notice anyway, so please yourself.

All you'll get here is smartass comments like mine and diametrically opposed opinions.

    Hope this is helpful.

IMO, and especially given my small wrist, almost every contemporary IWC is too big! :D

Maybe this is a better perspective.

It is. It looked a bit big in the first picture IMO but it looks perfect from a bit of distance.

Yeah forced perspective. Need to take a picture of this one further away. Looks big on my 6.75 wrist.

It looks like you're actually wearing it on your toe.

I'm kind of where you are at, I love the look. Something feels a bit off. I'll try to bond with it for a few days and see what happens.

There is something about thew IWC Mark watches that do not work for my wrist - the lugs are too long and straight, jutting out from the sides. Creates an overhang.
