just sold at a local french auction, 9200 eur + 27/29% => 14K usd, which is still a fair price considering two lots rearlier there was a gold-capped C-shape connie for 1500 euro + cost

by the way, do you know what the final price was for the patek that went right after? I saw it too yesterday and it was quite pretty!

Got it yesterday! The lume charges when exposed to light as expected, the hands charge too to a lighter color but they both fade at the same rate, which I read somewhere was a good sign...
Even the crystal is a period correct narrow omega! Can I poly watch it gently to get rid if the small scratches without risking to erase the logo?
More pictures to come!

The chronometer lost 10s to my iPhone over a 10hrs run, does it mean it needs a service soon?
Thanks!

The logo is on the inside, so no risk of that. Unless you go reeeaaaaally deep.

On a watch like this not knowing the service history I would have it checked even if it didn’t loose a second. Loosing 10sec in 10hrs is additional incentive to get it to a watchmaker.

Got back too late to have some sunlight, but here it is after an ultrasonic bracelet cleaning and some poly watch on the crystal! 😁

Dial, bezel and hands are incredible. There is a big ding on the lower right lug, but it doesn’t bother me, I’m happy they didn’t polish the watch to get rid of it! 😁

It looks original to me. I think a good general rule of thumb is that if the condition of the one part of the watch is similar to the whole watch, you can probably trust it. The lume on this piece looks incredible, but the rest of the watch is in great shape too - the dial looks great, the lugs look sharp and unpolished, the bezel is mint, the hands are in good condition, and the engraving on the back is crystal clear. To me, this looks like a watch that's just been really well taken care of.

The condition of the lume isn't really surprising within the context of the rest of the watch.
