Hmm, something does seem a little off here. This is the edge of a genuine service bezel... Much thicker outer ring, at least to my eye. And zooming in on the edge of the photo you provided shows a weird change in colour near the bezel edge... Given that the bezel text in your picture looks correct, it's almost as if a photo of the text from a genuine bezel has been superimposed over the image. But that would be a crazy thing to suggest, I'm sure ...
I should say that everything else looks to be fairly consistent with a new-build, service parts SM300 - often referred to as a Watchco. So it would be puzzling to find such jiggery-pokery going on with the bezel. Maybe it's just a trick of the light? Any other photos?
It does look very strange but reflections and lack of can play some strange tricks. Perhaps a couple more pictures from different angles would resolve any questions.
Agreed, probably just poorly lit. If I was considering buying it, I'd be asking for some more and better photographs.
