Somebody asked me what the serial number of my watch was. I had no idea so I brought it into the jeweler to be opened. This is what the inside looks like. Is it authentic? Can anyone tell me what time period or year its from?

How did the rotor get scratched like that. There are vertical scratches that could not have come from the case back.

looks like a ' Mumbai special' - did it come from India? Parts mostly authentic, but may not be from a single watch and often in very poor condition. Dial refinished, case heavily polished, if you like it wear it, but there wont bea lot of resale value. In terms of finding out more about your watch start by googling the case reference on the inside of the case back....

    Almost as bad.

They like clean dials in South Korea. I'd say 80% of watches I see from there are redialled.

You bought it because you liked it obviously, so not a waste of money unless you really over paid for it

This is the same watch you wanted to list for sale here a couple of weeks ago, isn't it?
