Does Moontwatch Only Vol. 3 cover the 3861

I looked on a few websites to see if Moonwatch Only volume 3 covers up to the 3861 but got conflicting information. I’m sure someone here already has volume 3 and could enlighten me? Just wanted to make sure before I drop $300. Thank you in advance

It does. It covers the two Apollo 11 50th releases, and the two specific 3861 movements for those releases (gold plated and rhodium plated). The rhodium plated version is the same as in the new Speedmaster line.

perfect, probably a dumb question but I’ve never actually seen one of these books in person. Does each volume cover basic moonwatches? For example does it show that in 2021 a new moonwatch was released? Not just special editions.

MWO, 3rd edition, came out in in 2019 so nothing newer than that. Certainly no 2021 releases, those will be covered in the 4th edition sometime in the future. MWO covers all moonwatch releases, standard ones and LEs, a pretty complete picture of the series since 1957.
