Hello fellow members, I was wondering if gold omega watches have the same degree of polishing and finishing for both gold and steel watches? I have a pretty rare aqua terra in full white gold in 44mm and the brushing work on the side of the case can challenge my AP 15400 easily. And I also went to the ad and found the exact same model in steel and the brushing work on the side of the case looked completely different and not as crisp as the white gold one and the pushers are much more defined and crisp in the gold one. The difference is huge and you can easily see it when there next to each other. which leads me to believe that these high price pieces have a different line of watch makers polishing them with hand possibly also the new moon shine moon watch looks to have the same brushing finishing on the case like this one. What do you guys think? Thank you.
Gold is much softer and therefore much easier to work than stainless. Besides, wouldn't you expect more care taken with a limited release gold piece?
