Hello all, I just recently purchased my first Omega Speedmaster (Omega Speedmaster Professional Moon Chronograph Men's Watch 311.30.42.30.01.006). I was recommended by several friends to through JomaShop despite not having a manufacturers warranty. I just got it insured today, however they mentioned the bill of sale is only good for 1 year and I would have to get it appraised if I wanted to have it to be continually covered. Does it matter that I purchased from JomaShop? Appreciate any advice you all can provide. Thank You
Doesn't matter where you bought it. Any future appraisal should reflect market value, given condition of course.
While it does not matter if you bought it from jomashop, appraisal issues are determined by your insurer, and not where you bought it. If your insurer needs it periodically reappraised, that's your insurer's requirement.
As long as the piece was purchased under the proper condition report, the value should be within 10% +/- Congratulations on your newest addition! Thomas
