How much was the bezel?

I bought the whole SMPc case including the ceramic bezel, crystal, case back, etc. I think the ceramic bezel is worth like $600 at OFREI.

...Wouldn't have been cheaper to buy a used SMPc and change the dial? 馃槈

Well, that would jeopardize the factory warranty of a SMPc. Other than warranty concerns, price wise the SMPc's had drop a lot in price, so might be an option too. All you would need would be the new dial (sourcing it is now troublesome due to the fact OFREI is being cut by Omega as a supplier by december of this year; Ebay and forums always an option) and a watchmen that can do the swap for you.

difficult to transmit, how much clear is the reading with sword hands...and I prefer the aesthetics too.

I put the Mitsukoshi dial and hands on my 3570.50. It is really stunning in my opinion. A collector friend who did the same referred to his as a "frankenwatch". I don't buy that as the replacement parts are all OEM and exactly the same as on the Mitsukoshi. Frankly I like it a lot better than the black dial - although it can be harder to read in certain light given the lack of contrast between dial and hands.
