    Hey there,

I’ve found pics of this watch on eBay but I’ve never seen this model of omega. Does anybody know which mode this is? It is real or a fake?

Did you buy it? It was offered for 200€ and the typical grandfather heritage story. Allthough I doubt the grandfather decided for this modern strap :D
Anyway....For me it looked like a SM300 dial in a manual wind "normal" Seamaster case. I am curious myself what we see here.

    Hey!

No, not yet. The watch was just being offered to me for 100 €, as allegedly somebody else had dropped out. The only payment possible is supposedly a transfer, since the seller does not have PayPal. It all sounds very fake. He wanted to send me a picture of his identity card as a sign of confidence, but nothing has come up yet ...

The watch looks correct. It's an uncommon and relatively valuable dial variety. The story... Well.

Although I am quite used to recognizing fraudulent offers, it is now becoming more and more difficult for me to do so because they are getting better an better.

    Anyway, he didn't answer again...
Thank you for the help with the model :)

Looking back, one could have guessed from the typical position of the hands and the detailed shots that no one would take such shots who had no idea about watches and only wanna sell a watch that was inherited ::facepalm2::

I guess the photos are stolen but the google backwards search was negative.

Yeah, 10:10 positioning is pretty classic for watch people. I've learned that we all have that instinctual sense that allows us to feel when predators are in the area- when it doesn't feel right- it's not.
