Do you think it's a redial?

I find this 168.005. I think it's a redial because the script is too thick, and the length of "AUTOMATIC" should have relatively same length of "OMEGA". Also, it seems to not pass the MOY test. I need help from people who have more experience to confirm/correct me. Thank you.

Sorry that there's no close up photo.

Did a previous response disappear?

@taworn

The size (width) of the text does differ - likely due to different dial manufacturers.
Trawl through the 167.005/168.005 thread and you will see some narrower versions starting as far back as the earliest doglegs.

The font does look a little thick but I wouldn鈥檛 dismiss this dial out of hand because of this alone.

The watch has painted indices, so a later version - this may explain the overall dial style.

If this is a redial, it鈥檚 a very good one. However, the only way to judge this is by seeing in person.

The steel case looks like it has had a heavy polish. The sharp folds on the lugs have been rounded.

Do not pay top dollar for this watch.

Yes, it did. Maybe, somebody commented then decided to delete it. So it may be an original. I'll check the thread thank you.

I won't buy this one. Thank you for your recommendation. I also don't have much experience to see Constellations in person. So every time I do, I can't really tell if it's redialed and it's very small. Do you have any recommendation what to focus on? However, I can tell better if I like the watch or not in person.

Yes they said it was an obvious redial, hence my prepping the popcorn.
