Do we think Omega will drop anything soon?

A release after the event, has that ever happened?
No idea but Speedy Tuesday is the next most logical day if not today.

Given Omega's record on release timelines, they're probably due for a Seamaster refresh. If I were a betting man, I'd guess a new Seamaster with the spirate system in the not too distant future.

Seems like it would be better off in their PO lineup.

True. I think the PO is even more overdue for a refresh.

I actually quite like this. Not too big and gold variation case on leather. The sort of thing I’m half on the lookout for although I don’t really want the Paris 2024 branding and nor do I want to suffer the £4k drop in price that will take effect the minute it walks out of a boutique.

It is a bloody nice looking watch though, I also like the Paris speedy too......although not enough to run out and buy them!

It‘s a very beautiful watch with great dimensions and technically fantastic specification! Well done Omega!

Not a bad looking watch, but $12k for a 9kt gold watch is kind of pricey.

oh yes. Just to be clear I really really like the watch!! It’s just that whilst I want to keep watches for a long time I still have a hard time knowing that the PM models do tank a chunk of value immediately on purchase from new.

Oh yeah the price is a big ask, and commemorative editions for current events do smack of instant heirloom just add money....and as such probably won't hold value, but it is nice!

Although I like the look I wouldn't buy one.
1 - Not ready to drop 12K on a watch
2 - If I were, it would be something else

But a nice looking watch and a cool tribute to Omega's past for the Olympics. I'm sure they will find buyers.

It looks good and am glad they didn't put any Olympic logos on the dial and kept it on the caseback, which is ugly. Would be nicer if no Olympic markings and sapphire caseback and sub $10k price.

Beautiful watch. Undoubtedly pricey and unlikely to leap off the shelves but impressive attention to details and gorgeous casework and dial, extended PR and great dimensions. Plenty to like in this one.

I've had a few bronze watches and have found them hit or miss, though the Tudor BB58 boutique edition has held up beautifully. This Omega is in a very different class of execution and refinement. Kudos.
