Same for me. A modern version of 2255/2254/2230 with,
- Ceramic bezel with slightly smaller font on the bezel
- Nice LM dial with subtle waves
- 40-41mm case
- Speedy style bracelet
- Upgraded clasp
- Double AR coating
- Without helium escape valve (think its pointless)
- Date at the usual 3 position
- No red texts to keep it basic.
-.....under 5k 😉

Saving up your Tooth Fairy money have we……😀

What do folks think they will do for the Paris Olympics?

There’s a new colour scheme for the Chronoscape. Unveiled on Instagram half an hour ago.

Any particular color of unicorn that you'd like?

My Wish List for a revised SMP:

40mm case (I could live with 41mm or 39mm)
Less than 13mm thick
Bracelet that tapers from 20mm to at least 18mm if not 16 or 17mm
Wave dial similar to the Bond 60th
Anodized aluminum bezel similar to the Bond 60th and NTTD
Hands fully lumed (keeping the same shape is fine)
Helium escape crown reduced back to the size of pre-2018 SMP's (I'd prefer it be gone entirely but I don't think that's ever going to happen).
I do want to retain the overall shape of the current gen crown guards

Most of all I really want them to reduce the size of the SMP to at least the pre-2018 size. There's still the Planet Ocean for people who want a thicker and larger sized watch.

My guess is a refreshed SMP released after the Olympics in the fall.

2024, that would fit the 6-year rotation of new generations Seamaster 300m. High hopes! But I'm afraid Omega will stick to the 42mm case.

How about a new entry level model with a photo of Kevin O'Leary on the dial? 😁

Will they ever offer a 41.5mm Seamaster chrono again? Preferably in titanium with a METAS certificate (and arrow hands).

If one can wish, a gents dress watch in the de ville line under 40mm let's say 38mm in steel with a nice dial without roman numerals would be nice..

Around the Olympics will be the next reveal 😗

I kindof missed this post, or at least it didn't sink in. Seeing as you have been clairvoyant on previous drops, now I'm intrigued.

With alot of talk about the PO being due for an upgrade, this makes me wonder what's coming. I really like the summer blue PO, but wonder what I'd miss out on in an upgrade. New movement, tapered bracelet? It'll be more expensive no doubt, so not looking forward to that.

I expect the new steel summer blue Ploprof will be available in more dial colors with the steel case dimensions, mono block, etc on new Ploprofs. Love the watch but not the price.

They need to bring back that silicon strap (in multiple colors) that said PloProf on it, and re-release a folding clasp with micro adjustment & diving extension

Late to this thread but from what I've read, Omega doesn't really show anything there. They release as they please.

Will I want to get on a list? Is it related to something that happened 55 years ago?

Speedy Tuesday would have been perfect or isn't that important anymore to Omega (still a few more hours left though) or it's something else.

Source?

Personally what I'd most want to see is a refreshed, slightly more back to basics Seamaster Professional. The 60th anniversary Bond was a step in the right direction for my tastes, but I'd love to see some aspects of that built into the main line releases. Make it a bit thinner and smaller, subtly taper the bracelet, update the clasp, simplify the dial, add at least two more degrees of slant to the datewheel numerals... 😉

I would have said I want to see a white Speedy more, but they nailed that.

Seeing as Omega's name is about to be plastered on everyones TV for the next couple weeks, one could assume its another Olympic related release
