Cool to see the Oris Sixty Five being dunked.

That watch appeals to me. Of course I'd never even shower with it if I had it.

I would absolutely recommend it. It just oozes cool, and at $1000 or so used it's a great value IMO.

And why not?? It's good to 100 meters. I think I put about 8 dives on it over the week, and it did just fine all the way down to 81 ft (25 m). 👍

In 2008 when I took the wife and kids "snuba" diving in Hawaii, I wasn't into taking photos of my watches - I didn't start visiting any watch forums until the past 7-8 years. So, it never occurred to me to take a pic of my SKX009 while around water or under water. Using a 35mm film camera and a Panasonic Digital waterproof camera in a dry bag, so the photos aren't that good. The Sony my wife rented was much better.

My wife got a shot me and my son, and you can see his big watch. I think he had a Timex.

Not much wildlife to be seen though other than one one Sea Lion.

And the mischievous one decides to pinch her sister's butt under water, pretending to be the wildlife...

Looks like we did find a sea turtle.

We named this one George.

Quarry dives with the SKX007 on one wrist and Shearwater Perdix on the other. Itching to get back into clearer waters!

I rarely wear a watch when diving; I tend to have a dive computer on my left wrist and a D Timer on my right. The only time I wear a watch is when holiday diving at depths shallower than 40m and then it's one of these two:

No underwater camera gear, so surface shots only. “Cheating” a bit this trip with the scooters (can see the prop in the first shot). I think they’re a blast, my wife thinks they ruin the quiet contemplation of diving. On Maui’s NW shore, they really do help you hit a lot of spots where the reef is a bit more sparse. They also do all the work for you 😁. Routinely am out over an hour at 60-80 ft with 1000+ psi in the tank when done. Oh yeah, the watch. My only diver, but has done 20+ dives with no issues. Very legible underwater, but would expect no less from a watch designed by a professional industrial diver.

Let's revive this thread! I recently spent a week in Mexico and had a blast diving with my Oris Diver's 65 and Doxa Sub 300. Anyone else here do any diving in 2019??

We spent a week in Playa Del carmen and Cozumel in Dec 2011. I brought my Seiko SKX009 again plus a cheap Casio multifunction watch I (was afraid to bring a nice Diver to Mexico, sorry). Nobody thought to bring a waterproof camera on the trip either.

Testing out dive gear with my son.

Wife and kids on the dive boat.

Cozumel lighthouse on our way to dive.

With my wife, getting suited up.

My son on the left next to my nephew, then the dive guide, and my brother-in-law on the right.

Enjoying a beer afterwards.

Sunset as we head back to the dock.

Great pictures @larryganz! Coz is a great place to dive. Unfortunately the corals are starting to go away so I'm trying to see as much of the reef as I can while I still can.

Wonderful thread, great to see all these different watches doing what they were made for. Thank you all for the pics.
