·Hello Forum, hope all is well with you.
This is my grandpa watch that he used it during my whole childhood until he died (back in 09), unfortunately it is broken beyond repair. This is basically the quintessential watch for me.
The curved lugs and simple aesthetics are tattooed in my brain as "How a watch should be". That being said, I went crazy when the new AT Black Lacquer was released. The pics were amazing, but I didn't had the cash back them.
A few months later I got a bonus, from the company I work at, and went on my way to buy my first luxury watch. When the time to buy was up, three things stopped me, the gap in the comfort adjustment, the fact that the AT price was the whole bonus and BTC was very cheap back them.
After some searching I got a Ball Marvelight Day-Date as a heater for the AT and invested the rest of the money.
This post is not about Ball, I'm just giving some insight and context. That being said, buying this Ball was the best thing I did. Two years later I have a watch that I really like and I have the extra money to buy my dream Omega.
During those two years I learned that my daily watch has to be a Day-Date and that 36mm to 40mm are the golden size for me.
My questions for you all are:
1- Do we have any info/gossip/leak about a Day-Date AT Black Lacquer with better clasp?
2- If not, Do we have any info/gossip/leak about a mid-size (36mm or 37mm), no-wave dial, SMD300 coming back anytime soon?
3- If not, How much a full check in the caliber and a water resistance test for the 30bar wr would cost with Omega for a 212.30.36.20.01.002 from 2018 or 2019?
