Hi,

10 days auction, somebody already bid 400 Pounds (after a few days) for that crap...

How many issues do you spot?

Not a Connie if that is the reference?
No bezel
Highly polished
Redial
Wrong crystal
wrong movement for this reference?
Gold plated not “steel” Or just wrong case back?

Just looked on a bigger screen rather than my phone and a missing gasket?
Generally tired movement

Oh and the seller’s grammar/spelling (confident on this one!).

Good game, thanks! 😀
Wrong Cyclops eye
Movement serial too early for supposed case
Inaccurate black paintwork on hands
Odd star
Wrong hands...

I must say I’d not seen that thread either, seems I got a few right and some wrong... as such a mish-mash no idea what should be where!

More astonished its back out on the market. Unsure of the legalities but perhaps the seller would benefit from reading that thread that you referenced @Noddyman 😉

It’s now up to £427, kinda sad and somewhat unfair that some poor bugger is paying good money for such a piece of rubbish.

Was a good test though; so thanks @Passover for the thought regardless that this one had been reviewed already 👍

@Passover , good quiz.

Here’s a worse deal....wishful thinking seller asking €9000 (yes, three zeros) for this piece! ... don’t know what the seller is smoking over there.

I love the buttery look of the OP's example. Belongs on a nice piece of toast with jam, not on your wrist. Also looks like wrong solution used to clean the movement. Some copper plating missing. May be just the angle but that star on dial looks funky. Where's the Swiss Made?

Movement has a bunch of black movement parts which look out of place to me
Some of the screws look like they came from a lawnmower
I will assume it should look like this
Serial number pretty close to correct, about ‘61 according to charts and graphs at various nooks of the net
That cyclops is pretty fuckin ghastly. Probably a schill bidder at 500
