I'm considering a piece, but its lume appears quite dirty in photos. I'm wondering how much of a problem that is. Do people clean it? Does it indicate some abuse?

I think I just might not buy it

 

If that 1/6 of the dial is typical of the entire dial, it is to me, at the very least not at all aesthetically pleasing. Reason enough to take pause. Having said that and all other things being equal...do you want a project? Having said that...what does the rest of the piece look like? Is it just the dial? Is there more to it? And on and on and on and...
