I am on the waiting list for a few AD’s and sure this will become available in q1 but does anyone know of any AD’s who have in stock?

Also i went and tried the 41mm (abundance in stock) and cant decide if its too big for my 6.5inch wrist? I do prefer slightly bigger watches but obviously havent been able try the 58.

I've been to five ADs and all have told me the same thing - 1-2 months' wait.

 

I recently got black bay black 41mm and had the call from the AD a few weeks to get a 58.

I ended up passing on it as I was pretty happy with the 41mm. It's a modern size and sure Its a bit of chunky monkey, but wears comfortable.

I think you pretty much get used to whatever you put on your wrist after a few days. I have a few vintage omegas ranging between 34-36mm. When I first put them on, they feel very small, compared to my Speedie and black bay, but only for a day or so. After that, things reach equilibrium.

I think the 41 looks good on you. If you like it then go for one!

Not sure how much help this will be, but I was traveling through Amsterdam airport the other day and found a 58 at the airport jeweller--after having been stonewalled by every Tudor-affiliated jeweller in Europe I've come across. They told me they have 58s with some regularity, and then sell them in a heartbeat. Plus, with the right boarding pass you can buy it tax free. So maybe wait until you're traveling, and see if you can pick one up after check-in?

 

I own a 41 bb and it wear extremely comfortable with the nato strap...

I have just ordered a 58 through an independent UK AD (Burrells) in Home Counties. Good service experience and I expect to wait 1-2 months but told I am first on waiting list and they are expecting 4 in anytime. Send them an email for a quick response and check them out on U tube where I came across them.

A month or 2 isn't that much longer to wait. I have similar sized wrists to you and am happy I held out for the bb58

 

Fwiw, I've seen a few available on the leather strap in ADs. The bracelet version is almost impossible to come by unless your AD likes you.

 

Here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I managed to find one on a bracelet at a AD. I have a four month old at home so I don't get out that much but I do walked into almost every watch shop I see to ask for a 58. Finally handled one about 2 weeks ago. The sales guy even called me a week later to ask if I wanted it!

 

I have about the same wrist size as you (6.7in.), and I generally prefer watches under 41mm. At first I had only tried the 41 on bracelet and decided it was too bulky for me. But then the other day, I tried on a friend’s 41 on the stock ‘vintage’ leather and I was surprised how nice it felt; much better than the bracelet for me... but now I have the BB58, which is just a bit more to my liking size-wise, so I’m very pleased.

It sounds like you may be happy with either one; it looks great on you, too!

Just received my 58 and absolutely love it! Took quoted time to arrive (about 1 month). Perfect size for my 7 inch wrist - go get one if you can.
