Different Bracelets on a Seamaster 300 2531.80???

I've considered getting one of these numerous times over the last few years and always ended up dismissing it as there was something I just didn't like. After recently seeing a head only shot I've realised that it's simply the bracelet I can't get on with and the watch itself looks great.

With that in mind has anyone mounted a Speedmaster bracelet on a 2531.80 (or similar)? How about an 1171 or even an 1175???

So the bracelet on the original Bond that you dislike is the 020ST1503825. So bear with me here, but this same bracelet is also used on the 20545000. This is the same watch head (movement, same case, dial, hands) as the 22545000, which comes on the 020ST1610930 Speedy style bracelet.

This tells me that the 020ST1610930 is very likely to fit the case for the 25318000, because if one bracelet can interchange between the case for the 2254000/20545000, it makes sense that it will also fir the 25318000 case.

Assuming that there’s minimal difference between the 2531 and 2220.80 cases, I can confirm that the 1610-930 bracelet first like a charm on the 2220.80 case, and it’s super comfortable to wear! Adapt the adjustable clasp on with the proper endlinks and it’s pretty much perfect!

I'm not a big fan of the 300M bracelet either, but I do love the watch. I put an Aqua Terra bracelet on my 2220.80 (same dimensions as the older 300M), and it fits great. Omega ref. for the bracelet is 020ST1574898.

Yes - there’s a thread either here or on the other forum where someone successfully swapped the new diver 300m bracelet onto a 2220.80. Apparently the lug holes line up perfectly.
