Especially on vintage Omega diver watches, the SM 300 and the SM 120 of the 60's and early 70's, how are we to tell the difference between a patina caused by tritium hands and hour-markers that have aged gracefully over a period of time and another with a so-called 'patina' that is actually caused by moisture or water-damage.

    Kindly show examples of both.

    Thank you.

for me it is unimportant what caused the change.

if it is attractive I call it patina.
if it is not, I call it damage.
