    First time I've seen this piece in person... O M F G

Undergoing final inspection/prep before the owner arrived for pickup. The orange is so brilliant to the naked eye. The platinum wire used for stitching in the strap is next level... I would love to tell you how heavy the solid platinum is, except this piece was strictly hands-off - I was politely informed it could not be handled  The case back on this one was specially personalized, with the initials of the owner spelled out in diamonds inset into the sapphire crystal. The process to do this is mind blowing - they use a thicker crystal, laser etch the cavities, fill with liquid metal (platinum based liquid metal I believe), then set the diamonds, which are slightly recessed so the watch is comfortable to wear. WOW factor meter was pegged. They even had the deployant clasp beautifully engraved on this one.

This mystery owner (my lips are sealed) also had an Apollo XI 40th Anniversary in Platinum at the boutique waiting for pickup. Let's see, 1 of 8 pieces on the Planet Ocean, and 1 of only 69 pieces for the Apollo XI 40th. Life is good for someone in San Diego tonight ::psy::

Sorry my pictures suck, had to use the camera phone in typical boutique lighting. Someone said on instagram recently, the boutique would sell more watches if they let in natural light.

I just saw (and tried on) one of these recently at my local Boutique as a client I know was picking it up. Heavy and impressive in real life! It comes with a dark gray strap, too, with the platinum stitching that looks awesome and gives the watch a totally different vibe.

The box it comes in is huge and extremely nice as well.

I'm going to agree that while the watch looks pretty amazing, the platinum stitching looks a little out of place.

A little too orange maybe. Stick it on a Nato, does well as a beater on board of the yacht.

Dare I ask what something like that would cost, less the diamonds? I know, if you have to ask, you can't afford it...... The watch is stunning

Is it really $75,000? For that much it should come with a platinum bracelet…. Love the watch though

I think it's a little too much. ugly comes to mind, offensive too. maybe in person it may be better but as it is I have it.

In person it looks fantastic. Compared to the PO Which I think is over priced imho the Daytona is a way nicer watch and complimented by a platinum bracelet too.
