We can pretty sure it was a PANERAI... as I mentioned before exciting news, a new watch brand exposed to outer space since December 2008

We had to edit the title as the SWFG members spotted another chronograph earlier during the September 3, 2021 spacewalk as two cosmonauts connected the Russian "Nauka" module onto the ISS...
On that day, the cosmonaut in the red-striped Orlan space suit, Oleg Novitsky, was wearing this:

I thought Panerais were just for men who brag about cheating on their wives.

Now they’re in space.

How about the rest of the crew…. A new NASA duration record and they do not look like Speedy pushers under the left cuff…. Also something chunky (smart watch?) under his right cuff…

Left arm watch is an X-33 on a Nato strap with his wedding ring on it.

Under Vande Hei's right cuff I think this white dialed watch on a strap that he entered the Soyuz wearing when he departed. In the rest of the video it's a pretty thick watch and the buckle would be on the appropriate side as it appears above on his right wrist.

sorry if I’m not following the thread and characters correctly, but do you think this is the gold watch on white straps we’d been discussing around the time of the MoonSwatch reveal?

Different characters. The MS-21 cosmonauts wearing the gold white dialed watches are still onboard the ISS as part of Expedition 67.

In the full hatch closing video I pulled the image from the watch Vande Hei is wearing above has a steel case.

2022, April 18 ... ISS EVA-52
The 60th EVA performed in Russian Orlan space suits and again it looked like both cosmonauts wore "exotic" wrist watches:
Red striped Orlan MKS = Oleg Artemeyev
Wrist watch on yellow strap righthand wrist (screenshot... PANERAI with blue hands)
2 wrist watches on lefthand wrist ? (small image)
Blue striped Orlan MKS = Denis Matveyev
Wrist watch on dark strap at lefthand elbow
Again a trend at the wrists of Russian cosmonauts !?
😉

No idea what Metveyev is wearing here but it sure as heck isn't going anywhere.

Again we see a "" well-packed "" wrist watch on the Russian Orlan MKS space suit ... looks like a date window on Denis Matveyev's watch ? 👎

Packed and protected indeed. I can't make out much on the dial. At first I thought maybe the same brand watch worn by Oleg Novitsky judging by the look of the bezel but I'm not so sure. I've been wrong so often lately I'm not speculating on anything until I see better pictures. The light reflecting distorts the details way too much to be positive.

That said, it is really interesting the see the array of watched being worn lately. Maybe the future cosmonaut retirement plan is questionable and these might fund a comfortable Dacha in a few years.

Edit - @SpeedyPhill

If I flip the image of Novitsky's watch and put it next to Matveyev's I think there is a possibility it's the same brand. And yes, maybe a small date window at the crown.

It looks like the unidentified gold case with white dial on white strap from the MS-21 launch day may have made an EVA yesterday.

There were no real good images in the video feed but I caught this screen clip when Artemyev's right hand is reflected in the mirror. There is a gold cased white dial watch on his right arm with what appears to be his name hand written on the strap.

He also appears to be wearing the large chronograph again pictured above on his left arm not so tightly wrapped in tape with the chronograph pushers and crown clearly visible.

the "news" ( if we can it like that in our esoteric research ) was spread via the SWFG - Space Watches Facebook Group
Thus so far 8 wrist watch makes directly exposed to outer space:

1965, June 03 = Omega Speedmaster 105.003-63 ( Gemini IV - Ed white )
1966, Sept 13 = Glycine Airman automatic ( Gemini XI - Charles Conrad )
1971, Aug 02 = Bulova 88510 chronograph ( Apollo 15 - David Scott )
1994, Sept 09 = Fortis Official Cosmonauts ( TM-19 Mir-16 - Yuri Malenchenko )
2008, Sept 27 = Fiyta chronograph ( Shenzhou 7 - Zhai Zhigang )
2008, December 23 = Seiko Spacewalk Springdrive ( ISS Exp 18 - Yuri Lonchakov )
2021, September 03 = black chronograph ( ISS Exp 65 - Oleg Novitsky )
2022, January 19 = Panerai Radiomir ( ISS Exp 66 - Anton Shkaplerov )
Shouldn’t this list also have THE July 1969 event?
Because I see the Aug 02. 1971 event which was not merely outer space…
