Exactly two years ago I bought online, a 2998-2 and 2998-4. Each cost less than the price of today's correct 145.022-69.

Is it too late to brag about it?
WOW! Well done!

She arrived...

Bezel is near perfect. Dial and hands are perfect. Facets are perfect. Caseback has some idiot marks and a light polish. Case is 90% original, but appears someone hits the side with a buffing wheel and removed brushing...lines are still sharp, and thank God they didn't hits the facets or lugs!

Will get some better pics, but until then...

She came, she saw, she conquered! 😀
You would love this watch...should I leave case sides "as-is" or have LAWW brush correctly...leave the rest untouched?

I wouldn't mind a light brushing myself, because it isn't untouched in the first place and in its current form it looks a bit off.

Leave the whole case as-is. It's nothing wrong with it

Truth is: it drives me crazy to see excellent examples that I don't own, it simply exceeds the span of what I can bear! My problem? Yes..
